Tool 11

1. What are your favorite tools you now have in your personal technology toolbox? Briefly describe a particular activity that you will plan for your students using at least one of these new tools.
I'm not sure which is my favorite tool, but I learned alot about each of them. If I were in the classroom I would recommend all of these as teaching tools. I can't wait to see the students using their new i touches in the classroom!
2. How have you transfomed your thinking about the learning that will take place in your classroom?
I'm hoping to see technology integrated a lot more as I visit classrooms.
3. Were there any unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
It was not nearly as difficult as I anticipated!

Tool 10

I have searched quite a few apps for my itouch. I have a lot of translators for spanish and several fact practice apps. Kids would love these in the classroom.

Tool 9

I think Skype would be an excellent tool for students to use to communicate with those out there in the world who have something to offer: authors, illustrators, inventors, engineers... the possibilities are endless!

Tool 8

I got both my videos from Teacher Tube. I chose one on the gulf oil spill and another on math.

Tool 7

This was fun for me. I have worked with photo story with my own children. My son has had to use photo story in his high school classes.

Tool 6

Wikis can be great for spurring conversations between students about all kinds of things!

Tool 5

It's great that any web site that I find interesting or that I want to use consistently for a class lesson is right at my fingertips. My students will find that bookmarking is an easy way to find websites, pages, and information that they can get back to, if they don't have the time to finish a report or project. They can also go to other bookmarks from other sources or people who have bookmarks of similar interest. Tagging makes it easy to find just what you want without browsing through a lot of websites.
